About the Keyano Color Protect Complex: The Color protect complex is a high activity UV absorber that provides full spectrum color protection that significantly reduces fading of all hair colors. The low molecular weight is small enough to penetrate the hair, allowing it to protect both the cuticle and the cortex. In addition to UV absorbers the complex contains grape seed extract and tocopherols that target reactive oxygen species (ROS) that are responsible for oxidative stress of proteins in the hair.

The Color Protect Complex (CPC) will preserve the natural color of the hair. CPC prevents radiation from degradating melanin, the pigment that gives hair its color. In addition CPC will reduce the work of combing virgin hair by 58% and bleached hair by 33%. CPC will protect hair from UV-B damage and prevent bond breakage inside the cortex of the hair, preserving the hair's natural strength.
